The happiest place on Earth....

We totally planned on surprising Ethan with a trip to Disneyland for his first Spring break. We thought of leaving Jacob behind because the thought of lines, tons of people traffic and a long day just made us think he wouldn’t be up for it. Or should I say it would be too hard. Not at all in a bad way but I didn’t want him to be suffering or crying in the stroller ya know. So Wednesday came around and we purchased our tickets online. Then we picked up the boys and the more I saw Jacob, the more I felt like a horrible Mom. I mean, who leaves their baby behind when going to Disneyland…me??? Driving home Ivan looked at me and said, I feel wrong about leaving Jacob and immediately I said ME TOO! Then we started talking about when we take pictures Jacob is not going to be in them, etc, etc. So we called Ivan’s Mom and let her know we changed our mind. We figured if he got the urge to run a muck we would just go to an area where he could do so…

So we get up get ready and Ethan is still clueless about where we are going. Even in the parking structure he asks if we are at a mall. (I think he was half asleep) So it was not until we got to the trolley that he recognized just where we were at. We got huge hugs & kisses and the smile on his face was just enough to melt my heart. We ended up getting there a ½ hour after opening and hit the big rides first. They have a cool system, when one parent waits for the other to get off the ride they then swap and the one waiting first totally bypasses the line. This was awesome, not only did I get to go on the big rides but E was able to go on them twice… A couple hours later we headed down to Toontown, and that is where we let Jacob play in a mini park. We then went on rides where we could all get on and they totally loved It’s A Small World. This day was turning out to be perfect! The weather was great, the lines were short, and both boys were being soo good! The more we commented on how much fun Jake’ was having the worse we felt. Never again do we try and leave our baby behind…

13hrs later…yes 13hrs, we went on the train as our last ride and Ethan knocked out. Jacob was up watching the fireworks but E was out like a light. It was a wonderful family outing and I can’t wait for our next adventure.

It was just a bit to early for them...lol

2010 Family Cruise

Okay, so I just realized that I never posted any pictures of our family cruise. Seven days away from cleaning, cooking, working, alarm clocks...what more can a person ask for. What a blessing! As always we had our big o’ fam-bam on the ship to enjoy this wonderful time with. The boys had tons of fun, and boy did they eat! Ivan and I had an opportunity to go out alone a couple nights and we also did an excursion without the boys. It was soo much fun and I thank my Mom & Dad for giving us that time to spend together. I had a wonderful time on our first big vacation as a family of 4. I am such a lucky gal to have such sweet cute adorable boys..all 3 of them. I love you all and I can't wait till the big cruise in 2011!
