Game Time

So Ethan had his first game last week and boy was it crazy. You got 4-6yr olds playing together on a team and it equals craziness. The games are so much fun that you are literally on your feet the entire game. It's so funny because Ivan left the game horsed because he was yelling so much. (not in a mean way) It's just loud and there are lots of teams playing at once on different courts, so lots of cheering going on. Whew, these games are exhausting. The crazy thing is they play for an hour...so the kids are pooped by the time the game is over. Ethan likes it but he gets frustrated after a while of not being able to get the ball or getting the ball taken away. Okay the funniest thing: This week he had a game and he didn't nap prior (big mistake)! So he was tired, thirsty, hungry..all of the above. Then he was out on the court and he started itching his tummy and he came and told me and my mom he was itchy. So my Mom tells him, "Its okay E, I know your itchy because your allergic to basketball". LOL He so didn't catch it, but to us it was hilarious.

Here is the huddle prior to game time.... = ) I don't have lots of pics, more video than anthing being it was hard to take pictures behind a fence. Once they move the games back into the gym I will.

Jacob ready to cheer for his big brother.

June Laughlin Trip

I promise to get better: June 12th was our first trip to Laughlin as a family of 4! I was a bit worried about the 3 1/2 hour drive, but we made it with only 1 stop (good job Jacob). Friday was pretty much an adult night being we got there about 6ish. I usually gamble big money ($5 bucks)..ha Okay, so I find it hard to "feed" a machine my hard earned money. However, it's fun so I just play the penny machines..and yet I wonder why I never win big! = ) So Saturday was a day at the lake and Jacob loved it as expected. This might sound weird but for me it means a lot to me that my boys (even, Ivan who loved it since the first time I took him in 002') like Laughlin and the whole lake thing. I have been going with my family since I was a baby and I want to continue the tradition with my family. So yippee both of my boys are water guppies! Even when E was a baby we would but him on the ski's and he would knock out as if he had narcolepsy, and wouldn't you know its the same for Jacob. I didn't think about taking pictures of him dozing but I will get them next month. So this was the start of our summer trips to Laughlin and this trip as usual was awesome. I can't wait for next month being all of our family and friends are going. I think we are going to take up an entire floor at the hotel...darn Mexicans. LOL

Auntie Lauren and Jacob in the truck...(the start of the road trip)

Mommy and Ethan....we were grooving to the music. That boy is so diverse when it comes to music, I love it!

Jacob getting some fresh desert air...he has Ace Ventura "pet detective" hair..lol

Ethan enjoying the lake and sitting on the skis...the good life.

Daddy and Jacob....I love this picture. It's actually a "re-pose" of him holding Ethan..we want to put them side by side. I love you so much babe, thanks for blessing me with 2 gorgeous babies!

Go 76ers'

Here are some pics of E practicing with his team and if you haven’t guessed yet he is on the 76ers. It was funny to hear the boys say “why not the Lakers?” I wanted to say “because we don’t need more than one ball hog on the team…(oh low blow). LOL I love him playing sports, it is the cutest thing to see him playing with the other kids…very entertaining to say the least. On the flipside to see your son play sports can get you sad. It shows that they are getting older and more independent. What happened to him being attached to my hip? Now I have to practically beg him to stay by me. It’s all about being outside and playing with friends. Don’t get me wrong, I love to see him having fun outside its just crazy how fast he is growing up. You know prior to having kids you always hear the phrase “Time flies”, but it’s really not until you have kids that you truly understand the meaning.

He shoots...he scores!

Blast from the past

So, I told many of you that my husband and Bff's had me a 80's party for my bday and as promised here are some of the pictures. I don't have a lot on my cam but I will need to do a slide show once I collect them all (Kar & Jen!). To make a long story short the party was Awesome or should I say "Like totally awesome!" When having a themed party in the back of your head you really hope everyone will participate. Well, with my luck and the love my friends and family have for me they did just that. I have never laughed so hard…everyone got so creative especially the guys! I love you all and once again you made my birthday so very special.

OMG...I felt like an 80's barbie! Thanks Jen and Kar for dolling me up.....Carlita and Maria looked to fab for words!

My Brother, Sister-in-law, and my cousins. Ams I love you..your such a poser.

It's about time!

So, I told many of you I was going to set up my blog "this weekend", so here it is. Sure I said this about 8mnths ago, but you should know that "this weekend" for a mommy of 2 (or Me) is translated as “some time this year”! LOL Now I will be able to share all my pics of my wonderful, beautiful family of 4!! Oh, and even better news...today is my sisters 14th Birthday. Happy birthday Lo, we love you! I can't believe my baby sister is 14! Gosh, I remember when I was 14, my first day of High school to be exact. The butterflies in the tummy, a bright sunny day and the cold am air….how fun! Well Lo, I hope this year brings nothing but great memories. Love you!
